Okay get with it!

That's what I said to myself this week! You are messing around and messing around and not doing what you said you would do!

And now I have to get in shape for sure!

My husband is scheduled to preach in Italy. I wasn't going to go on this trip. I know it's Italy! But at some point you just want to stay home! And I am at that point!

Anyhoo......they scheduled me to teach the ladies so I guess I am going! Ready or not here I come!

When I figured out that I was going too I decided to see if it was possible at the end of the mission trip to "tack" on a 3 day trip to an area in northern Italy I have dreamed of for a long time. It is called the "Cinque Terre".

The point is the hike between the five villages is mostly up and down and takes 5 hours. I have to get in shape!!!!

I have been faithfully going to Curves again but I need to do some serious stair climbing. We are are going to start climbing the stairs from Memorial Drive up to Crescent Road for a start today. Then I think Nose Hill will be next!

If you hear major moaning from the Northwest part of the Calgary it is Judy King pulling herself up stairs and hills!

All joking aside I am very excited about the hike! A bit apprehensive about the steepness close to the edge....I have a fear of heights and being on the edge! I can't step on the glass at Calgary Tower!

I'll be posting pics a long the way. We leave Sept 30 but won't be at the Cinque Terre until Oct 11th.

Okay....hubby saying he is ready if I am.....off to the stairs!!!

Latest Update...

WELL!!! Missed weighing in last week because the clinic was closed for training. It was worth the wait! Lost another 4-1/2 lbs. and what REALLY surprised me was the inches lost this past month...15!!!!!!!!!!!! I am ecstatic over these results! I did go to a couple of dress stores just to try on some things afterwards - could not believe the sizes I tried on actually fit?!!! Woooooohoooooo!

Below is my "latest" modeling picture!

Plateau = Uggggghhhh!!!

Well, well, well!!! When I went in to weigh today, it was really no surprise to me for my consultant to say, "You've hit your first plateau." I've been monitoring my weight on my scales at home and have noticed them NOT moving downward like I would like them to! But at least I was able to lose 61-1/2 lbs before hitting that plateau. I've noticed others have hit it way before then. So I count myself blessed! And YES, I will break through it! I will see the scales moving downward again! It is a challenge to me (and the strong-willed person in me loves a challenge).

My consultant gave me some tips for breaking through a plateau so I will try those this week, and hopefully, I will see a different set of numbers next Friday/Saturday!
