Weight Update

Well, the last update was about the snow that we received. We did get another light dusting less than 2 weeks after the "big" one! LOL. Miracles still happen!!!

This post is not about snow, but about weight loss. I kind of "fell" off the wagon and haven't done so great up until almost 3 weeks ago. Got rid of the sugar, white flour...basically the junky stuff...in my diet. Basically, I'm eating protein, PLENTY of fresh/frozen vegetables and fruits, and very little starches. After being measured (from head to toe) and weighed in today, I was ecstatic at the results!!! 9 lbs. and 17-1/4 inches!

And by looking in the mirror, I didn't think I was losing! After all, I look at myself in the mirror everyday and don't see the changes that others are seeing. Well surprise, surprise, surprise!

Anyone else have any weight loss reports???

Okay, I know that you Canadians have seen snow more times than you care to count, but for us "Southerners," it is VERY rare! It is 8 PM and STILL snowing! Miracles, indeed!!! I have updated some more pics. Hope you're not totally bored by this post. It's probably more amusing than anything, eh??? :)

It's been a long time since I've attempted to blog. And I know this is supposed to be a blog for weight loss and support, but I'll do that later. Something VERY important (in my opinion) is happening here in East Texas!

Today, I was very surprised when I rose up to begin my day! We had reports that we were going to get some snow flurries, but around here, you just usually laugh it off and say, "I'll believe it, when I see it!" I do have pictures below, but please don't laugh at our snow. You see, this is the first BIG snow that we have had since 2002. EIGHT LONG YEARS!!!

It began sometime during the night, and it is still snowing! I am LOVING it!!! Keith calls me his Eskimo. I do love the cold! Enjoy the pictures below of an East Texas snow. :)
