Leslie Full Screen
Iasked Sister King to have the ladies pray for me on Friday morning. I am assuming they did or if they didn't someone did. I have felt so different since Friday night and Saturday morning. I felt like I COULD do this and even though I have been having a blip that I am through that blip and I CAN succeed. I just have to set my priorities and make good decisions.
This morning I went to my exercise place and did 3 circuits and took my DVD and used the classes room and their DVD player to do my walking (4 fast miles). It was quite an experience to have Leslie and her cohorts fill the whole wall. I was quite a ways away from the wall, (in order to stay out of the projectors stream from the ceiling) and even then if I got out of sync the dizziness started and I soon got back in synch to make it stop.
The circuit was my resistance and strength and the walking between machines and with the DVD was my cardio.
I still cannot do the grapevine and the turning on the side step. Maybe it is the reverse image and trying to do it or maybe it is my size and it is something I will be able to do when I am smaller and faster or the speed they were doing it at!. Or maybe it is something that I will never be able to do like those 3D pictures that have a picture within a design! Whatever!
I made it somewhere between 2 and 3 miles and came out of the room bright red and sweating. The girls asked if I was okay. I think they thought I was going to have a heart attack. One of the problems with doing the bike was that I never really sweat even though I felt like I was going to burst. And my heart rate never got up to the best zone either. Hmmmmm..... I bet it did today!
So, if I live through today in the aftershock, I am hoping to get back into a routine of daily or EOD exercise. I aim to be like Sister King and Carla. Everyday mega miles. Besides I have to renew my license in the first part of June and I DON'T want to put what I weigh right now on it. Nothing like reality giving you a shake up, eh?
I hope this encourages someone to make better choices and realize they CAN do it! A person is a success who gets up more times than they fall down! I am up one more time! (Yes! I like exclamation marks!!!!!)

Mrs. Wizzle, remember what Leslie says, YOU CANN'T DO IT WRONG! Just move, if the grapevine is a Wizzle version, awesome, it does not have to be perfect. Who cares, its just moving our 50s bodies again and making fit choices. I have prayed for you and Sis King many times in the last few months as the leaders of WeBeFit. You will remain in my prayers. I don't know how to do a blog article so why don't you create one for each month where we can log in the comments our miles from Sunday to Saturday (Carla, you, I, Sis. King, anyone else that would like too). Like weighing on the scale it's good to be accountable.
Well, it's been forever since I even commented on here, but I just wanted to say I am excited with the weight loss, exercise program we have begun, and even being pregnant, I can still do a few miles a week. I am 2 weeks away from being halfway through this pregnancy and I have not gained a single pound! I have lost 4 actually! Yea!!! It encourages me more and knowing I won't have much baby weight to lose after helps alot! Keep it up ladies!
You are only a failure if you don't try!!!!!!!! If you fall or stumble get back up again and keep going. I have bad days along with the good & I REFUSE to GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. By the way, I couldn't do the grapevines when I first started either. No problem now! You CAN make it!
Thanks for the prayers Shannon! my mind is my biggest battle! Great going Amy! LOVE those exclamation marks Carla!!!!!! and thanks for the encouragement. I am sure you could tell us about bad days and about dogged determination as well! Are you writing it all down?
