Update from Texas

It sure feels better being home taking care of Mom instead of the hospital. It is sooooo much easier on me. It is for sure a full time job. I am doing most of the care for Mom. I am going all day. I am sleeping in her room so I can get up and take care of her needs during the night. (They have twin hospital type beds that raise and lower. Smaller version of the ones in the hospital)

My Dad would not have been able to do this at all. If I were not here she would be in a rehabilitation nursing home. She was dreading the thought of that and I don't blame her! I am so honoured to be able to help her out at this time.

Yesterday I was able to get 2-20 minute walks in. A mile each time. Dad watched Mom while I went out. It felt great. I got another one in this morning. I am going to try to get a least 2 in per day I am here. 3 if it is possible.

I miss home and church and all of you. But I know this is where I need to be right now. Pray for Mom's recovery and my strength.

Love you!

We miss you like crazy but know you are where you need to be! Just don't stay away too long or my kids might grow up on you! Love you!

The prayer room seems empty without you walking back and forth praying and your spot is empty - and you sure are missed .... but

What a blessing you are to your mom. Having my mom with me all the time and knowing how much care she needs - I'm glad you have this time with your mom.

How many times did your mom spend long nights up with you as a little girl or stayed up praying as you were expecting your children. The things only a mom can do - it is a blessing to be there to give back when they need us. Mom's give so much

Church was great and God was there. Keep up the walking

I'm gonna start back exercising tomorrow. I think my back is ok enough to start back. I don't want to lose the exercise drive.
Keep praying for Andrea and Tanya they really seem to be hurt from this silly accident.

Ya - Jessi, Tanya, Andrea, Mandy and me got rear ended on Sunday in California. We all got whiplash. I'm alittle stiff but fine, Jess and Mandy were really stiff and soar and missed a couple days of work but Andrea and Tanya are hurtin real bad. Soooo.... I was told not to put extra strain on my back. But I did do my exercises today and I think its ok.

Yikes!!! So sorry!!! I will pray for all of you!

I am keeping the walking up. It helps to get those 2-20 minute breaks.

For body and soul!
