Exercise
What Helen said in her post is so correct. Matt, the medic, has been telling us that as we advance in years we lose muscle that must be replaced for our strength.
He said we can't just do aerobic exercise but we must include some strength resistant exercise as well to build the muscle.
The bonus with losing or maintain weight loss is that like Helen said it takes a lot of calories or energy to maintain the muscle. Therefore if you are gaining muscle you use more calories and lose weight or don't gain if you are eating more.
So don't neglect exercise. Make it a way of life for the rest of your life!!!!
We are changing the way we think. We are becoming more aware of the need to take care of these bodies!
We are going to be able to out shout, out dance all those young'uns.....except the ones like Jessie that are exercising!! LOL!
